(NYSE: AYI), a market leader in innovative energy-efficient lighting and control solutions, is expanding its LED Outdoor VIEW application portfolio with the introduction of the Hydrel® M9800 Series, Hydrel® 8100 Series and Hydrel® 8200 Series to heighten architecture and landscape design. Hydrel M9800 Series are the first modular 400-watt in-grade lights. These multi-purpose units are designed for flush mounting in soil or concrete, providing a new alternative to conventional lighting for large architectural and landscape features. The units consist of a factory sealed, thermally protected Lamp Module and epoxy encapsulated Power Module placed in a secured Rough-In Section (RIS), which includes channeled convective cooling, an integral junction box, and door assembly. The M9800 has a 460 mm (18 in.) footprint with a cylindrical RIS. They are available in monochromatic white and RGB color-changing LED. Hydrel 8100 Series and 8200 Series are high performance, compact, precision lights designed for consistent styling of building exteriors and landscapes.
