Malta, NY, June 15, 2011 -Advanced Energy, under subcontract to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, has issued the following two Requests for Proposals:

Multifamily Housing Subject Matter Experts for the Development of Standard Work Specifications
The work effort will involve participating in a weeklong event to develop technically based National Multifamily Retrofit Workforce Guidelines. The deadline to submit questions on the RFP is June 17th, 2011 and the deadline to submit proposals is 5:00 EST June 24th, 2011.

Manufactured Housing Subject Matter Experts for the Development of Standard Work Specifications
The work effort will involve participating in a weeklong event to develop technically based National Manufactured Housing Retrofit Workforce Guidelines. The deadline to submit questions on the Manufactured Housing RFP is July 8th, 2011 and the deadline to submit proposals is 5:00 EST July 22nd, 2011.

Advanced Energy is aware that some Federal and State employees may be unable to enter into a contractual agreement or receive payment for participation. If this is the case, please respond to this proposal by the specified due date and, if chosen to participate, Advanced Energy will work to find an alternative to the typical contracting process.
