ATLANTA – February 16, 2009 – LED Light Technology is pleased to announce the installation of LED low bay fixtures in an Atlantic Station loading dock. The 78W LED low bay replaced the initial 175W metal halide fixture. The LED low bay’s have reduced the energy use by 121W per fixture or 60 percent and have eliminated maintenance completely for the useful life of 11.4 years. “The change from our metal halide fixtures to the LED fixtures allows us to focus on more important projects than changing light bulbs and ballasts,” said Joel Ward chief engineer of Carter Management, Atlantic Station. “Also, the color of the LED light is very pleasant and much brighter than before. We are pleased to support LED Light Technology and their mission to provide cost-effective and environmentally friendly LED light fixtures.” LED Light Technology is a female owned company that specializes in retrofit of traditional lighting systems with LED light fixtures. Building on 25 years of experience in the lighting arena, the company provides LED based fixtures that feature the world’s most efficient LED light source for both retrofit and new lighting installations. LED Light Technology offers solutions ideally suited for office buildings, hospitals, casinos, retail, manufacturing, warehouse and more. The company supplies an array of fixtures including a loading dock fixture, wall packs, 2x2 and 2x4 retrofits, warehouse fixtures, indoor and outdoor parking lot fixtures and replacement bulbs, among other products. “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with Carter Management to help them serve their customers need to reduce owning and operating costs by converting to LED fixtures,” said Daniel Falzone chief executive officer of LED Light Technology. “Our LED fixtures provide customers’ energy and maintenance cost savings are environmentally friendly and made from fully recyclable materials.” LED technology is rapidly breaking all of the traditional lighting rules by generating light using science rather than heat. Companies around the Globe are transitioning from general lighting applications to LED illumination solutions. LEDs consume 85 percent less energy than incandescent and 50 percent less energy than fluorescent which aids in fewer greenhouse gas emissions. LED Light Technology’s fixtures produce up to 95 percent less heat than traditional lighting sources, which reduces building air conditioning costs dramatically. In addition to substantial energy, HVAC and maintenance cost savings LED lighting systems are environmentally friendly, contain no mercury, lead or other pollutants and instantly turn on after power failure. About LED Light Technology LED Light Technology is a marketing and sales company with strategic relationships for manufacturing LED based fixtures. The company works to convert roadway, streetlights, offices, warehouses and all commercial and industrial facilities to LED energy saving lighting systems. Carefully constructed, LED Light Technology’s fixtures last 50 times longer than the typical life of an incandescent bulb (1,000 hours) and 5 times that of the average compact fluorescent (CFL, 10,000 hours). Their LED fixtures are filament free, making them unaffected by shock and vibration and have zero re-start time so following a power outage the fixtures return to full brightness immediately.
