As a member of POWER of g, you are able to find and contact other POWER of g members who share your passion for true sustainability. The goal of POWER of g is to teach and learn from each other about true sustainability.
POWER of g = true sustainability; the ideal balance of budget-driven costs, life-cycle cost-savings, healthier planet, and environmentally-responsible materials, methods, and systems. Ultimately, the POWER of g is a responsible solution and value proposition.

As a designer I have been interested in sustainable design for years. Many wonderful new products, education and ideas are now coming to the fore thanks to the energy crunch.. I have been interested in Packed earth, hay bale and bermed residential design for years.. adding wind power to solar and water power where available (good old water wheel) are now becoming viable solutions.. Designers need to start thinking green and catch up to their brother architects and builders...

I love the premise of this group, and the power you speak of Mr. Hoffman. I graduated last September with a degree in Environmental Studies and a passion for sustainable design, especially in buildings. I am currently seeking to attain my LEED AP in Operations and Maintenance and gather as much knowledge as I can in the process.
