Bob is president of IAQ Technologies, Inc., a Syracuse, NY-based indoor environmental and building performance firm offering consulting, mitigation and training services to a variety of clients throughout the country. IAQ Technologies’ “Total Building Approach” services include IAQ testing, HVAC hygiene, mold, lead and radon on the environmental side and building science/performance work for green consulting, energy audits, air sealing and high performance insulation.
Bob has been a nationally recognized indoor environmental consultant and trainer in the IAQ industry for over 21 years. He has designed and managed successful indoor environmental projects for residential, commercial, educational and healthcare facilities throughout the U.S., and conducted hundreds of investigations since 1990. He has presented at numerous industry conferences, appeared on national television and radio, and is widely published on indoor environmental topics.
Most recently, Bob served as the Green Consultant/Designer for Mark Antony Homes, LLC in Syracuse, NY on the first new home in New York State and the 7th nationally to be certified Gold under the new NAHB ANSI Green Standard. The 4800 sq. ft. custom luxury home debuted at the 2009 CNY Parade of Homes and features geothermal, PV solar, wind turbines, whole house ventilation, spray poly foam insulation and a host of other green innovations. The house was under consideration for 2009 NAHB National Green Luxury Home of the Year.
Bob is an avid SCUBA diver. His activities also include video production, music and karaoke (yikes...). Bob was a youth and high school football coach for over 15 years.
