Although this isn't very related to building, I apologize, it is something worth bringing up. Apple is announcing their newest Iphone model today among other things. This model is greener than ever and is: arsenic-free, BFR free, mercury-free, PVC-free, and made of highly recyclable materials.

I'm glad to see any major company green up their operations, and due to the popularity of this phone and how many they will ship, it's great to see them lessen their footprint a little bit. Let's hope others take this to heart and start to really scrutinize their own operations and the environmental consequences of their product.
