This was just way too weird to pass up. Endangered vultures in Africa are facing a serious new threat: Gamblers who want to kill them and smoke their brains for good luck. Apparently, superstitious gamblers believe that vultures posses the ability to see into the future.

Chalk one up for PETA. After countless campaigns slamming the production of foie gras, it seems that Britons have begun to embrace an alternative to the cruel delicacy. Faux Gras is made from a combination of free-range birds and "sustainable" fish.
