With that in mind, this month we have gathered a group of thought leaders to answer the toughest questions from attendees. What is the typical ROI of green building and design measures included in school construction? How can the use of daylighting impact my school's electricity bill? Is there any way for our existing buildings to be more sustainable and efficient? These questions and more will be answered and explained on August 25th in our Green Building Expo online event center. I'm excited at the response so far from the community, and hope that many educators attend in addition to the building and design crowd to bring something back with them to their respective districts. Spread the word as far as you can about this event. It's FREE to attend, and we want to show that there is large support for overhauling these environments for our children. In addition to the event, keep an eye out for the Green Building Journal that will be sent out the same day, chock full of articles and case studies on the same theme! Green and Sustainable Schools is the name of the game and we've gathered some amazing speakers to shed light on this hot topic. Schools more than ever need to take a look at their operations and take note of where to improve things like indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
